When Jack London had his portrait made by Arnold Genthe, London started to praise his friend Genthe "you must have a wonderful camera... It must be the best camera in the world... " Genthe then
made a portrait which has since become a classic ..... When the sitting was finished, Genthe could not contain himself : "I have read your books, Jack, and I think they are important works of art. You must
have a wonderful typewriter."
When words become unclear, I shall focus with my photographs.
When images become inadequate,
I shall be content with silence. Ansel Adams
